Added:
FAQ - we’ve added a Frequently Asked Questions tab within the navigation bar! Check it out and read more about some burning questions you might have.
Donation - added several new benefits for site supporters. Check the “Donate” tab within the navigation bar to learn more.
Buttons - several new buttons have popped up that can be clicked to show more information on a page. (on the “Applications” page, this button redirects you to the Staff Application form. “Donate” page, there is a “$” button that shows how you can save money when buying a longer sub time.)
Recent Blog Posts - added a block to the homepage that shows the most recent blog posts.
Mobile Support - our site is FINALLY mobile-friendly...kinda. It looks a bit clunky but there isn’t much I can do about that, unfortunately. However, things seem to be functioning. There are some block placement issues that are fine on my end, but mess up on the actual published (mobile) site. These will be looked into and hopefully fixed soon (primarily affecting the “Donate” page).
Removed:
The Forum - we had to say goodbye as we have fully disabled the Forum. No worries, we still have the Blog!
Recent Supporters (Homepage) - removed the 20 most recent supporters from the homepage because it was clutter, and was hard to manage. We also removed it to make room for the “Recent Blog Posts” block.
Badges - sadly, I have removed all obtainable site badges except for Supporter and Staff badges. These will not return and any badges added in the future will correlate with comments and activity within the blog.
Changed/Fixed:
Text - there were a couple of text errors on some pages that have been corrected.
Block Placement - some block placements were out of range, or misshapen. They have now been fixed.
Blog (Post page) - changed the color palette of the post page to a slightly transparent white. Easier on the eyes!
Donation Page - changed Crystal Royalty to 3 different tiers, with perks gaining the higher you donate! We also added little icons to make it pretty. You can view more information regarding Donating within the “Donate” tab on the navigation bar.
Report Member - removed the Google Form embed. Now to report a site member you must email report.thecrystalspiral@gmail.com.
Members Chat - changed the colors and font of it a bit, also updated some text within the chat interface. Please do not message “The Crystal Spiral” as that account is not monitored, so all inquiries are ignored. Please message @Clarity instead.
Login Page - fixed a weird issue with the pop-up box after submitting account info when attempting to log in not closing.
Moved:
Recent Supporters - we have moved this next to the “Report Member” button, for easier access.
Forum Guides - the transition of posts from the Forum to Blog has begun! We will be transferring overall guides/reviews staff have made to the Blog. Any player posts will not be moved. Sorry!
