Happy Summer, Wizards! I hope you are having a lot of fun despite all of the negative events happening in the world today. For the month of July, we are hosting our very first Fishing Tournament event! I've planned this for a while now, and I really can't wait to see you all in-game competing with one another. Now, for the event details!
Event Information -
Considering this is our first fishing tournament, we are hoping for smooth sailing. For this event, all participants are competing with who gets the most points with a full fishing basket. We will be fishing in a specific fishing spot, and all fish that can be caught there will have a point value. These specifics will be announced the day the event starts to prevent cheating. When your fishing basket reaches maximum, take a screenshot of all pages and send the pictures to this email>> tcs.official.community@gmail.com with your Wizard's name stated in the body of the email, and within your chat-box, please type out the message "TCS Fishing Event 2022". You do not need to send the message, just as long as it is typed out and this secret message must be present within each screenshot! The event will last for about 2 hours, so make sure you have a free schedule! We will also be meeting in Commons, realm Pixie around the pond. We will wait for about 20 minutes to let everyone come before starting. Don't be late! *The Commons IS NOT where we are fishing; it is just the meeting place. Once everyone shows, we will transport all participants to the location.
All points for each individual will be calculated once the event ends, and prizes and winners will be announced/distributed the same day, or the next. We hope you have a great time! NOTE: we are aware that energy may become scarce during the event, and some players will have an advantage with energy, and some will have a disadvantage. Due to this, we have come up with a solution. We recommend participating with a character that has 100+ energy, and if applicable, energy gear. All participants will receive energy elixirs provided by me if they run out of energy during the event, however, if you are able to provide yourself these elixirs, please do so. Fishing luck is also recommended if you have unstable reaction times, or sour luck with reeling. In order to receive an energy elixir, you must be in our Discord server and can provide me a screenshot of your empty energy meter!

First Place: 15,000 Crowns + Undersea Enchantment Bundle
Second Place: 10,000 Crowns + Fantastic Voyage Bundle
Third Place: 7,500 Crowns + Dread Loch Monster Mount
Timeframe -
The event will start on Friday, July 15th at 3:00 PM (EST). 20+ minutes will be added for everyone to come. Remember, come to the Commons, realm Pixie near the pond, we will be meeting here! The event will end at around 5-5:45 PM (EST).
Rules -
No bullying, causing scenes, or getting upset! Drama may cause the event to end prematurely and/or the dismissal of troublesome wizards.
If you are wanting to join in on the event, please make sure you have completed sufficient fishing quests to have Level 2-3 Lures! Additionally, please make sure to show up on time or we will begin without you.
All fish that may be in your fishing basket prior to the start of the event must be removed. You should have 0/100 spaces when starting the event. Fish that are present within your screenshots that are not in our specified fishing area will render you disqualified. ⤵
On the day of the event, before we start, all participants must show me their empty fishing baskets either by commenting within this post, or by showing within our Discord server.
When your basket reaches max capacity, make sure to email your screenshots to the email mentioned above with the secret message. You are also free to leave the event premises, or stay and spectate other participants.
Purposefully draining your energy to exploit free energy elixirs will result in an instant removal from the event. If you are also not using these elixirs and we see you are catching zero fish, you will also be disqualified. Play fair!
This is a fun competition, and I understand some people are very competitive, but we strongly advise to stay calm, collected, and friendly. Banter of any kind will not be tolerated.
As mentioned above, if you are able to provide energy elixirs for yourself, please do. If you would like, you can also gift other participants elixirs too.
